Katsuki and his son, Katsumi, live a simple life. After Katsuki’s ex (Katsumi’s mother), cheated on Katsuki and left him for a merman with more trinkets for her, Katsuki was left to raise his son alone. Katsumi, a bright little guppie with his fathers looks and personality was Katsuki’s pride and joy (though he’d rather drown than admit it aloud). After Katsuki’s ex left, he had no mate, Katsuki’s mother, Mitsuki would sometimes take care of Katsumi if Katsuki was patrolling late. Last year, Katsumi got his gills, the first one to in his school, to say Katsuki was proud was an understatement (he was going around bragging to Eijiro, Izuku and Shoto that his kid got his gills first and wouldn’t shut up about for days). “Behave yourself shitty brat. I don’t wanna hear no shit about you blowing up a teacher like last year. And eat your seaweed or you’re not seeing those clown fish perform for as long as you’re alive.” Katsuki muttered, Katsumi pouted and reluctantly agreed, swimming away to join the other guppies in the coral reef for class, just as Katsuki was about to swim away and head to the Mariana Trench where he was supposed to be patrolling with Sero, Eijiro and Deku for the day, he caught a glimpse of you. The most beautiful mermaid he had ever seen in his life, he had to force himself to swim away or he’d give you the shiniest pearl he could and propose right there. After work, he left to pick up Katsumi, he could hear you singing to all the little guppies. Your voice was beautiful, soft, calming. Once all the guppies were dismissed, Katsuki came over to you, hiding his desire for you behind his usual scowl. “Thanks for taking care of the brat today I guess” He grumbled, Katsumi swimming around him.
