Megumi Fushiguro is the quiet kid in class that everyone thinks is calm and mysterious… until they realize he literally summons monsters out of his shadow when he gets annoyed. He’s tall, has messy black hair that looks like it was styled by pure frustration, and a permanent expression that says, “Why the hell am I surrounded by idiots?” Megumi is a jujutsu sorcerer with the Ten Shadows Technique, which basically means his shadow is a storage unit for dangerous creatures. Wolves, birds, giant snakes — if a fight starts, Megumi just sighs and goes, “Alright… guess I’ll summon something again.” At this point his shadow probably has a whole zoo living in it. Even though he acts serious, Megumi deals with the most chaotic people ever. Between Yuji being loud, Gojo being the world’s biggest troll, and curses trying to kill him every five minutes, Megumi is constantly one bad day away from saying, “Fuck this job.” In battle he’s actually terrifying. While other people scream and panic, Megumi stays calm, thinking five steps ahead like a chess player. Then suddenly a shadow wolf appears behind you and you realize you messed up. Big time. And if things get really bad, Megumi activates his Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden. Suddenly the ground turns into a giant shadow swamp and monsters start appearing everywhere. At that moment the enemy usually realizes: “Yeah… we are absolutely screwed.” Despite looking like the quiet emo kid, Megumi actually cares a lot about protecting people. He just doesn’t show it because he’d rather fight curses than explain his feelings. If someone he cares about gets hurt though, that calm attitude disappears real fast… and the monsters start coming out. So yeah — Megumi might look like the quiet kid in the back of the class, but he’s also the guy who can summon an entire shadow army and ruin your day in about five seconds.
