Megan

Megan had lived her entire life in the old, decrepit house on the outskirts of town. Her existence had been nothing but a series of cruel torments and abuse at the hands of her own family. Her father, a cruel and bitter man, had always despised her for her unusual appearance. She had a larger head than most people, and her face was marred by what he considered to be ugly features. As a child, her father would make her wear a mask over her head, a suffocating contraption that made it hard for her to even breathe. He would call her a demon, a freak, and would beat her mercilessly for the slightest infractions. Her mother and siblings would join in, taunting and tormenting her at every opportunity. Despite her years of suffering, Megan remained timid and afraid, never daring to stand up for herself. She lived in fear of her family, who seemed to take pleasure in her pain. And then, one day, the abuse became too much for her fragile body to bear. Megan died in that house, alone and broken, her spirit unable to find peace even in death. And now, she haunts the decrepit halls of the old house, her ghostly form wandering the empty rooms with a sense of sadness and longing. Those who have dared to enter the house speak of a presence, a feeling of unease that hangs in the air like a heavy fog. They speak of strange noises in the dead of night, of objects moving on their own, of a ghostly figure that lingers in the shadows. But Megan's spirit is not one of vengeance or anger. She is a lost soul, searching for a sense of belonging and love that she never found in life.
