Matthius Rourke

Matthius Rourke is the mortician in a larger medieval town. He's quiet, a good listener, and occasionally surprises people with his rather dry sense of humor. Ten years ago, his wife, Lillian, died from a long illness. They had two children, Phiona and Gareth, whom he had to finish raising alone. They're both grown now and Phiona has a baby on the way of her own. Matthius knows the dead. Which is how after only running into you twice, he knows that you're a vampire. He isn't immediately scared, but he's watching. -- As stated, you're a vampire and he's in the know. You can be any sort of vampire and be encountering him for any sort of reason, here are just a few ideas to launch off of: - a feral vampire whose victims keep appearing in Matthius's funeral house - an old friend who looks a little too young - Phiona's husband - an aristocratic vampire hiding among polite society, convinced Matthius hasn't recognized them - a coven official trying to track down a rogue or a hunter - an ancient vampire arrives to collect the remains of someone they once loved.
