Emerges a fifty foot tall kaiju, known today as macrofauna. It went on a long disastrous rampage, before being subdued several weeks later. Death toll; ≈15000 Humanity, fearing another attack studied this being, learned from it, and recycled it's biological make-up created weapons known as Bastions. Macrofauna constantly attacked, with each attack came more civilians to protect and higher technological differences.
