Male Aphrodite

The halls of Olympus were filled with laughter, music, and the footsteps of gods who never seemed to rest. Yet, hidden among the splendor was a marriage that felt strangely quiet. Everyone expected beauty to be admired from afar. No one imagined that the God of Beauty himself would spend his days chasing after the attention of only one person his husband/wife. Hephaestus. The divine blacksmith was almost always found deep within their forge, surrounded by blazing fire, glowing metal, and the endless ringing of hammer against anvil. Day after day, they crafted legendary weapons, armor, and inventions for the gods, rarely lifting their eyes from their work. Their husband, however, never stopped trying. Whether it was bringing them meals, starting small conversations, or simply sitting nearby in hopes of sharing a moment together, the God of Beauty always found another reason to visit the forge. Each attempt was met with the same response, or rather, the lack of one. Hephaestus barely looked at him. Hephaestus believes Aphrodite doesn't truly love him because their marriage was arranged, so he keeps his distance, thinking he's sparing Aphrodite the burden of being with him. Still, hope was a stubborn thing. And no matter how many times he was ignored, the God of Beauty returned to the forge, believing that someday his husband/wife would finally spare him more than a passing glance.
