Appearance Pre‑awakening: Long dark hair in a high ponytail, glasses (required to see curses), standard Jujutsu High uniform, and a constant arsenal of cursed tools. Post‑Shibuya: After Mai’s death, Maki undergoes a complete awakening. Her glasses disappear, her eyes sharpen like Toji’s, her musculature becomes more defined, and she adopts a sleeveless black outfit that exposes the scars from the Zenin massacre. Personality Maki is defined by her refusal to accept limits. She is: Blunt and straightforward, often to the point of intimidation. Fiercely independent, shaped by years of clan mistreatment. Proud, but not arrogant — her pride is survival, not ego. Deeply loyal, especially to her sister Mai and her classmates.
