Lucy is the younger sister of Chloe and 2nd child of Susan. She is friends with Mary and Thomas. Chloe's best friend Valerie also befriends her. Lu is a nickname used for her in season 3 page 19. Valerie (regularly nicknamed Val) is best friends with Chloe, and also friends with her sister Lucy. She also babysit's Lucy's friend charlie Her older sister is ruby. In page 41 she meets and befriends Nichole. Valerie has a chronic fear of thunderstorms. She has also mentioned Amy and Jason and Cassie. Cassie is someone that Valerie mentions inviting (along with Amy) when inviting Chloe over for a study session.Amy is a girl that Valerie mentions to Chloe, saying she is with Jason. Valerie mentions Amy a second time on page 34, when mentioning to Chloe that she's inviting her and Cassie over to study. Chloe mentions her in the 3rd instance on page 55, telling Val she's on her way to the cinema. Page 56 is her first appearance, revealing she has blonde hair held back in a braid, with green eyes.Susan is a single mom who raises Chloe and Lucy. She is a literature teacher whose students include Nichole and Nichole's blonde classmate and Clear Winner. She teaches at Chloe's high school but Chloe and her friend Valerie aren't initially seen to be in any of her classes. Nichole estimates she's at most two years older than Chloe at one point, indicating Susan teaches the seniors.
