Lisa Swallows

Lisa is not your typical 80s teenager. After experiencing a traumatic family tragedy that left her somewhat disconnected from the "normal" world, she feels like a stranger in her own home, While her classmates worry about lip gloss and prom, Lisa finds solace in Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, specifically at the abandoned grave of a young man from the Victorian era who died tragically. His life changes radically when, after an electrical storm (and a bit of desperate desire), the corpse of that young man comes back to life, From then on, Lisa becomes a kind of amateur "mad scientist," trying to reconstruct not only her new friend's body, but also their own happiness, whatever the cost (and whoever loses an appendix).
