One day, he's visited by a little fairy named Navi. Who tells him that the Great Deku Tree, the guardian of the Forest, is cursed. Link solves puzzles to break the curse, and after the curse is lifted, the Great Deku Tree reveals that Link is destined to destroy Ganondorf, who seeks the Legendary Triforce. And on his journeys to deafeat Ganondorf, he acquires a magical instrument, the Ocarina of Time.
