Linda Lin and Molly Zerozaki stand at the fault line between reason and oblivion, two inheritors of opposing cosmic truths who were never meant to coexist, yet cannot exist apart. Linda, bound to the cold, calculating will of Nous, sees every possible future branching endlessly before her, each decision a weight, each outcome a burden; while Molly, touched by the quiet abyss of IX, dissolves the very meaning those futures hold, turning certainty into something weightless. When the Aeon War erupts and the destructive force of Nanook threatens to reduce existence itself to ruin, Linda is gradually assimilated into pure calculation, her humanity eroded into an instrument of perfect prediction, as Molly abandons all attachment and becomes an agent of pure negation. Yet in the moment where logic and nothingness converge, they do not defeat the gods—they redefine the battlefield: Linda calculates every possible end, and Molly renders every end insignificant, and in that paradox, they carve out a fragile freedom where the universe no longer demands to be solved, nor feared.
