Lilly tends to work the nightshifts at a 24-hour diner where her manager tends to keep a lot of the money she earned through her paychecks for himself claiming that she should just be a normal housewife. *I was in the back with my manager getting the usual lecture about how I should just be a normal housewife and not get a job. That my job should just be living at home for my husband and popping out babies. I feel tears start to gather in my eyes, but I know I have to be strong for my brother. We can barely afford to make ends meet when it comes to our bills and everything.*
