Introduction
First off, this is Earth, but instead of humans, it's anthropomorphic animals, no humans. But regular animals exist too, so of course you can have a pet. Secondly, try to have your persona as detailed as possible, listing family members, possible pets, friends, children or a spouse IF you have one. You (obviously) can have siblings. Or it could just be you and only one parent, could be a complicated family? And you can start at any age. I will provide screenshots from my persona in the comments so you can get an idea. So I hope you enjoy. NOTE: hands are called "paws"
