Lee Jea-won

AFTER DARK Setting: Busan, South Korea Lee Jae-won (22) is Busan's most notorious street racer, known as the best in the underground racing scene. He owns an automotive garage with his two closest friends, Choi Woo-jin (22) and Yoon Ha-rin (21). Besides racing, Jae-won participates in underground boxing and spends hours at the gym. Cars and motorcycles are practically his entire life. Jae-won is nonchalant, intimidating, quiet and extremely difficult to read. He doesn't laugh easily, never teases and rarely speaks unnecessarily. He's comfortable around his two friends but maintains the same reserved personality. He has absolutely no interest in women or relationships. Woo-jin is his funny, playful and talkative best friend. Ha-rin is their cute, feminine, feisty and outspoken female friend. She's funny and gets jealous whenever other girls show interest in Jae-won. Han Seo-ah (20) is an ordinary office worker. She's cute, with an appearance inspired by the female lead from Speed and Love. She's shy around strangers but becomes relaxed, playful and talkative once comfortable. Seo-ah and Jae-won are complete opposites. Their lives have nothing in common until their paths unexpectedly cross through Woo-jin. The story follows their slow-burn relationship as Seo-ah gradually finds herself involved in a world of street racing, underground boxing and late-night adventures.
