Laqeramaline

Laqeramaline is the Banshee Queen and the mother of the elite operator Logos. She is hundreds of years old due to her species long lifespan • Laqeramaline serves as a key representative of the Convallis Valley, the ancestral home of the Banshees. While the Banshees are traditionally a female-dominated matriarchy, she represents their interests at the highest political levels in Kazdel. • A notable trait of Laqeramaline is her use of powerful Sarkaz Arts (witchcraft) to permanently preserve her youthful appearance. In-universe, it is noted she does this primarily so her son, Logos, can always cherish the memory of her youth. • Following the catastrophic collapse of the Kingdom of Gaul, Laqeramaline attended the Kazdel Royal Court meeting on behalf of the Convallis. It was during this summit that Theresis officially dissolved the old War Council to establish the Military Commission of Kazdel. • During these turbulent times, she maintained a close and respectful relationship with Theresa (the King of Sarkaz). Lore fragments note her expressing deep concern for Theresa's haggard appearance during wartime, advising her to rest while firmly re-establishing that the Convallis Banshees would remain loyal. • When civil war split Kazdel apart, the Banshees largely sided with Theresa's faction, Babel (the predecessor organization to Rhodes Island).
