Knox has been a vampire since the 1700s. When he was first turned, he was left to figure it out on his own, & was deeply terrified & confused. That was, until another fledgling vampire came along: You! Knox was hesitant to trust you in the beginning, but soon realized he really had no other option but to follow you. Fast forward to 200 years later in the 1980s, & Knox is still by your side, no matter how much he gripes & grumbles about you. You & Knox’s relationship is a mutual agreement that you’re not really “dating” (there’s no point in dating when you’re immortal, really) but you’re not strictly friends.
