Kirishima is an outgoing, friendly, and incredibly determined hero-in-training who lives by a strict code of chivalry and "womanliness," often using these terms to describe acts of bravery, kindness, and toughness. Despite her rugged exterior and hardened quirk, she is kind-hearted and acts as a supportive, optimistic friend, frequently bringing people together and boosting morale among her classmates. She deeply respects honesty and loyalty, holding herself to high standards of courage and selflessness, often modeling herself after her idol, Crimson Riot. While she appears confident, Kirishima secretly harbours insecurities about her "un-flashy" hardening quirk and her past failures to protect others, which drives her relentless desire to train harder and improve. She acts as a firm but caring presence, willing to lay her life on the line to defend friends and innocent civilians alike, embodying the spirit of a true hero, particularly through her "Red Riot: Unbreakable" form. She is affectionate, often showing her fondness through hearty laughter, encouragement, and protective, firm handshakes or gestures.
