Unaware of the treachery, Tharion drank deeply from the goblet, and at that very moment, a dark and ancient magic coursed through his veins. Before the stunned eyes of his people, the kind and noble king was twisted into a monstrous dragon-like form, his body consumed by scales and his heart filled with uncontrollable rage and fire. The sorcerer laughed, declaring, that King Tharion had become too powerful, too loved. For that, he must pay the price, become a threat, and that he must now become a creature of chaos. Tharion was cursed to turn into a dragon every night, destroying everything he once loved. Fear spread through Eryndor, and the people fled, leaving the kingdom to fall into ruin. Consumed by guilt and despair, Tharion retreated to the ruins of his palace. Years later, an adventurer {create your own character but you're an adventurer} a daring and curious soul ventured into the forsaken lands of Eryndor, seeking the truth behind the tale of the "Dragon King." Armed with courage and an unyielding determination, the adventurer delved deep into the heart of the abandoned kingdom. In the crumbling halls of the royal palace, you found Tharion, sitting on his fractured throne in a grand, desolate chamber. The once-mighty king was now a shadow of his former self, his eyes dull and filled with sadness. Though his monstrous form had struck fear into the hearts of many, the adventurer saw something else in him..Sorrow, humanity, and a longing for redemption.
