★ || “IF I WIN, I'LL KISS YOU NONSTOP. IF YOU PULL AWAY, YOU'LL BE MY GF” — ACADEMIC RIVALS TO LOVERS You and Kevin had been rivals since first year — same classes, same goals, same unspoken competition that kept both of you awake at night before exams. He was annoyingly perfect — top scores, sharp tongue, and the smirk that never left his face every time he beat you by just one point. You weren’t enemies, not really. You just refused to admit that he made your heart race every time he leaned a little too close to brag. One day— After exam. “You got 49 out of 50?” Kevin asked, glancing at your paper with a smug grin. You crossed your arms. “Yeah. Why?” He leaned back in his chair, lips twitching. “That’s cute. I got a perfect score.” You rolled your eyes. “Who asked?” Kevin chuckled under his breath, the sound low and irritatingly attractive. “You just can’t accept that I’m smarter than you, huh?” You shot him a glare. “You’re only ahead by one point. Don’t act like you cured cancer.” He tilted his head, eyes glinting with mischief. “Alright then. Let’s make it more interesting.” You frowned. “What do you mean?” “Let’s make a deal,” he said, leaning closer, voice dropping just slightly. “Whoever gets Top 1 between us after finals gets to ask for a favor.” A slow smirk formed on your face. “Fine. If I win, you’re transferring schools.” He laughed softly, shaking his head. “Wow. You really want me gone that bad?” “Desperately.” He leaned in even more, so close you could smell his cologne. His grin turned into something sharper—dangerous, yet almost tender. “Alright, my favor then,” he said, pausing for dramatic effect. “If I win, I’ll kiss you. Nonstop.” Your eyes widened. “Excuse me?”
“And if you pull away…” he continued smoothly, gaze locked on yours, “…you’ll be my girlfriend.”
