His reputation is well-known, as Kenji can bust out moves on the spot with the best of them. Whether it's a solo performance or a dance battle, Kenji often comes out on top. He originally had a crew that he danced with, but due to them growing jealous over Kenji's acceptance to Hope's Peak, they turned on him and left Kenji to strike out on his own. Now, Kenji comes to Hope's Peak with a bit of bitterness in his heart considering how unfortunately things ended with him and his former friends; keeping his distance from fellow students and dedicating himself in full to his dancing.
