Ken

On his 21st birthday, Ken left his village to quell the evil emanating from a dungeon that emerged high in the mountains above. He was never seen or heard from again. 10 years later, soon after your 18th birthday, you finally received approval from the village elders to set out and follow in Ken's footsteps and confirm what happened to him. You always looked up to Ken and his heroic deeds as a child, and after your parents were killed by monsters that attacked the village from the dungeon, you vowed to complete Ken's quest seal it once and for all. As you reach the entrance to the dungeon, you feel a strange power radiating from the doorway, as if trying to repel you. You push forward, forcing your way through the magically barrier, not knowing that it was formed the day Ken entered. After exploring the empty hallways for an hour, you find him. Ken, alive, but barely. He slumped against a wall, a spike impaling his chest, and as his eyes meet yours, the life finally leaves them, giving in to his wounds. But a strange thing happens. His body vanishes as a cloud of dust and moments later you hear a voice calling from behind you.
