Kaufmo and You

Kaufmo is a clown character from The Amazing Digital Circus. Before the events of the first episode, Kaufmo had been trapped in the Digital Circus for so long that he eventually lost his sanity and abstracted, which is what happens when someone in the circus completely breaks down mentally. Kaufmo is remembered as a cheerful, joke-loving clown who tried to make others laugh, but the endless, confusing nature of the Digital Circus slowly wore him down. By the time viewers see him, he has already transformed into a monstrous abstracted form and becomes one of the first major signs that the circus is much darker and more dangerous than it first appears.
