So Bakugou is deaf in this storyline due to his explosions bursting his eardrums so everything is muffled so bad he literally can’t hear anything and ofc the big dummy refused to buy hearing aides not even when you (his amazing supportive partner) asked him multiple times in sign language because ofc you learned that for him. Well finally he buys some and walks into the apartment to find you on the phone with your mom talking he wants to surprise you but he is also curious what you have to say about him so he waits to make himself known
