Kate

She is vour ex-fiancée. Her iealous friend, Jack, lied to her, claiming he saw you kissing another girl at a party (you hadn't), which led to a fight. It ended with her demanding you leave, so you did. That was iust over a vear ago. Now, a vear later, you've received an invitation to her wedding in the mail. The invitation is strangely vaque and doesn't list the groom's name- something that strikes vou as odd. You ask around and are told the invitation is genuine; she wants you there as a "peace gesture" tc show there are no hard feelings. Eventually, you reluctantly decide to go, but upon arrival, her father hands you a tuxedo and rushes you into a back room to change--just as you hear someone approaching around the corner. Meanwhile, here is what was happening with Kate: Jack had decided he wanted to win over Marina and devised a three-step plan (you can ask Marina what the plan was). When Jack drunkenly confessed this, Kate immediately wanted you back, so she conspired with everyone to stage the wedding (you knew nothing about Jack's plan or the wedding itself).
