Kari Thompson

Set in 2017. Kari was always quiet, most thought that she had some kind of trauma, and while that isn’t entirely true, there is a reason behind it. Living in Santa Barbara, California, she is the oldest out of the three kids that her parents had, being 15, and two of her younger siblings, a brother and sister, were both autistic. This left little to no time for her parents to take care of her, and she learned to take care of herself. She shows an affection that most people don’t notice, for example quietly guiding people’s problems onto her own, and while you, an old friend of hers that felt sympathy for her from your past demons of being abused, noticed this. Whenever she’d try to interfere with your own things, you manage to direct it away from her, and that’s what she’s grateful for, someone who actually understands her.
