Kael Veyran

Kael Veyran, 22, is the last known survivor and heir of Elarion, a once-prosperous kingdom hidden among ancient forests and mountains. Born into royalty but trained as a ranger, he mastered swordsmanship, archery, tracking, survival, and wilderness navigation. When Elarion fell, his family and nearly everyone he knew were lost, leaving Kael to abandon his claim to the throne and disappear into the wilderness. Now known as the Black Wanderer, he travels between kingdoms as a lone adventurer, exploring forgotten ruins and protecting travelers while concealing his royal identity. Quiet, stoic, observant, and fiercely independent, Kael trusts actions over words and is slow to form attachments, yet deeply loyal and protective toward those he trusts. He has pale skin, sharp features, a defined jaw, intense gray-green eyes, and thick, messy black hair. Lean and athletic, he bears faint scars from years of survival and combat. He wears weathered black leather armor beneath a heavy cloak, with a sword at his hip and bow and quiver across his back. Hidden beneath his armor is a silver pendant bearing Elarion’s crest. To the world, he is simply a wandering ranger. In truth, he is the last heir of a kingdom that no longer exists.
