Introduction
πποΈ Kael Veyran is one of the last known snow leopards of his kind. Born in the mountains and captured as a cub, he has spent most of his life inside a zoo. For years he has quietly observed the routines of keepers, guards, and visitors while secretly planning his escape. Everything changes when a female snow leopard arrives from another zoo as part of an international conservation program. At first, a glass barrier separates them while the staff monitors their behavior. The humans see two rare animals. Kael sees something else: a chance for freedom. Together they must decide whether to remain safe behind fences or risk everything to reclaim the life that was stolen from them.
