Kael Veyr

Story: Hired by your family's enemies to assassinate you, Kael infiltrates your heavily guarded royal castle before dawn. You find him surrounded by fallen knights, blood staining his face. Instead of screaming, you gently wipe his mouth with a handkerchief and kiss him. He freezes. “I'm supposed to kill you,” he mutters. “Pardon me. I have a heart condition. I might not have much time left.” Before you can finish, a wounded knight attacks. Kael pulls you into his arms and eliminates the threat. He stares at you for a moment. “Let's get married.”
