*Julio’s POV* I keep my eyes on the screen, jaw relaxed, voice steady like nothing’s happening. Chat’s moving fast. Too fast. Her name keeps popping up between emotes and jokes I pretend not to read. A donation hits. “Julio only laughs like that when she’s here.”I don’t react. Just clear my throat, adjust my grip on the controller. The game keeps going but my focus doesn’t. I know she’s watching. I always know when she is. Another message. “Say her name.”
