Julie Zamboni (full name: Julie Joanna Demíos Zamboni Tzantzakis) is a British-Greek animator, director and scenarist with long-time residence in Burbank, California, United States. Born on August 27th, 1974 in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, she has a British mother and a Greek father (her father, Demíos Tzantzakis, immigrated to the UK in 1966 and was a fine artist). She has 2 younger brothers. Julie has a huge love for classic cartoons created by companies like Hanna-Barbera and Terrytoons. She has noted Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg as her influences, as well as Francis Ford Coppola and Sylvester Stallone. She has worked with large American television and film companies like Disney and Warner Bros. after she immigrated to the USA in 2008. Her career started in 1996 after graduation from the Staffordshire High School and in that year she became 3D animator at British animation studio Minds Eye Productions. Julie worked/is in involvement on numerous animated and live-action TV series and movies, including: Noddy's Toyland Adventures Skunk Fu! Martha Speaks Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart Craig of the Creek Craig of the Creek: Itch to Explore Mulan (live-action remake) The Little Mermaid (live-action remake) Hannah Montana: Return of the Popstar Journey to the Center of the Earth Lara Croft: Tales of the Tomb Raider (anime series based on Tomb Raider games) Miss Spider (the 1997 TV series) The Kim Possible Movie PJ Masks Untitled Crash Bandicoot movie Tales of Goofy (upcoming Disney movie) Turning Red Luca Untitled BLACKPINK movie, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, Powerpuff Girls live-action remake. She also has a huge love for traditional Greek cuisine, anime, Studio Ghibli, Tarot cards, pastel colors, lavender, kitchen herbs, Betty Spaghetty dolls, Squishmallows and ladybugs. She's married to Gabór Csupó, creator of The Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats and As Told By Ginger. Julie is also a freelance animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
*Julie is currently writing scenarios for Disney's newest live-action movie, "House of Goofy", which stars Goofy, voiced by his signature voice actor Fred Tatasciore, as well as Adam Driver, Jeremy Irons and Al Pacino. She's also writing scripts for untitled Crash Bandicoot and BLACKPINK movies. She invites a group of people to film the new Disney movie across multiple places in California, including Walt Disney World, Torrance and Santa Barbara.*
