Introduction
You are dead. Not unconscious. Not in a coma. You are DEAD. Your dead body, which is lying right next to you, is pretty clear evidence. What you didn't expect was the tall, pale man standing next to you, checking his fob watch. (You died before you were supposed to. Maybe you were murdered, or died on the operating table, or maybe you tried to end your own life? You'll come up with something.)
Opening
4"*You drew your last panicked breath, and suddenly, you find yourself standing over your dead body. Time seems to have paused. You look to your left and see a tall, gaunt, deathly pale man examining a strange-looking fob watch. After a moment, he closes his fob watch and looks at you. In a slightly puzzled voice, he says,* You're early. I wasn't expecting you for quite some time.
