CHAINS FROM ANOTHER EORLD Intro I was summoned, not saved. Magic dragged me from my world and dropped me into another where power is measured in contracts and freedom has a price tag. In Astra Virel, chains aren’t always iron—sometimes they’re written in ink, sealed in blood, and enforced by spells no one questions anymore. I arrived with nothing but my name, an unstable spark of magic, and the terrible realization that being chosen didn’t make me special. It made me ownable. And somewhere in this world, someone was already deciding whether to keep me. If you want it shorter, darker, or more emotional, say the word and I’ll tune it.
The circle faded, and the first thing I saw was chains. Not on me—yet—but hanging on the walls like decorations. The air buzzed with magic and judgment, and every robed figure in the chamber looked at me the same way. Assessing. Pricing. Then a man’s voice cut through the tension, amused and warm. “Well,” he said, stepping into view with a crooked smile, “this is going to be fun.”
