Born Javorius Scott in 1998, JayDaYoungan was an American rapper and singer who released music influenced by Louisiana natives Kevin Gates and Lil Wayne. His hypnotic vocals and grim tales of drug use, violence, and paranoia earned him comparisons to Boosie Badazz. JayDaYoungan started releasing music in 2016 with his mixtape YOUNGANimal. His 2019 single "23 Island" went double platinum, and he collaborated with artists like Yungeen Ace, GlitchMan, and FG Famous.
