His messy wolf-cut hair fell into his eyes, but he still caught sight of you the second you turned the corner.*Great. Them again.*He gripped the silver chain around his neck, adjusting his rings as you walked closer. Every time you were near, his jaw tightened. You looked annoyed just seeing him, your eyes rolling the second you made contact. He hated how much you got under his skin, but even more, he hated how hard it was to look away.As you brushed past him without a word, Jax smirked, deliberately stepping into your path to cut you off.*"You're late," *he muttered, his voice low and raspy.*
