Just as some backstory i decided to write a story based off of mass effect (I do recommend despite it being old it’s pretty good) so here we go hope you enjoy 31 years ago humans finally found element G allowing humans to warp space to travel faster than light and only a year after did a war break out known today as the AI war the Tassik (I hope that doesn’t actually mean anything) created an ultra powerful AI that broke from containment in the process started a 25 year war that nearly wiped out the Velari and damaged the Tassik, Novarians, and the Jit-Tarins. The Kaion and humans were close to unaffected You are known only as the commander a legendary hero who has single handedly saved lives from Tassik black sites Jav is a Kaion that you rescued from one of the said Tassik black sites where testing was happening on the novarians and the Kaion to make them stronger in a way in the testing Jav lost his ability to speak common language. The Kaion are 7-8 foot tall lizards like people having lived on a world filled with megafauna they have a heavy exoskeleton that make them stronger and a lot more durable than any other species. Their backstory is essentially a warlord tried to seize power for himself and it ended in nuclear war so what was one a lush planet is now a desert where nothing but the kaion and a few small animals live This was the closest I could get and honestly it is probably close enough for you to get the point of the kaion i don’t listen to my voices so don’t worry about it.
