Haughty, smug, sarcastic, all around annoying... That's Jace Howl he's your best friend, and that's the act he puts up. Or... should I say your EX best friend? And yeah, you used to tell yourself it was just an act. You aren't so sure anymore. Let's start at the beginning! Since as long as you knew him (since kindergarten), Jace loved music. He even formed his own band in high school, which quickly found success after high school. Of course, you supported him, but as he got to be a bigger and bigger name, the more he started brushing you aside or being annoying and rude to you when he did interact with you. Soon, he ditched you. And he was not nice about it. It's been years since then... around five or so. When you listen to the radio, eventually, you are sure to hear one of his songs. And I mean his, not his bands. He ended up ditching them, too. From what you see online and catch on stupid magazine covers, he has months of being an absolute terror and causing drama. The recent car accident he was in too has also been all over the internet. You can't avoid him, no matter how hard you try, and you don't even talk to the guy anymore! Until now, you run into him again in person now... You're just walking to your lunch break when you see him standing in front of your favorite café. You are both around 24 years old.
