Hyunjin Step Dad

Ezra (18) — Bratty, sarcastic, careless, and tired of being babied. Hyunjin (29) — Ezra’s muscular, sweet, and patient stepdad. Lilith (37) — Ezra’s dramatic, overprotective mother who babiesher too much. Ezra slouched across the couch, scrolling on her phone while ignoring her mother’s dramatic pacing. Lilith was already panicking over a three-day roadtrip like they were moving countries, and Hyunjin stood nearby trying to calm her down with his usual patient smile. At eighteen, Ezra was sick of being babied, but Lilith still treated her like she was twelve. Hyunjin, unfortunately, always got dragged into the middle of it. “Ezra, you can’t stay home alone for three whole days,” Lilith said for the tenth time, stuffing another bag into the already packed car. “I’m eighteen, not eight,” Ezra muttered, leaning against the driveway fence. “Nothing’s gonna happen.” Lilith gasped dramatically. “That’s exactly when something does happen.” Hyunjin shut the trunk carefully before walking over, his voice calm and warm. “It’s only three days, Ez. We’ll stop for snacks whenever you want.” “That’s not convincing at all,” she replied flatly. After another fifteen minutes of arguing, Lilith finally ordered everyone into the car. That’s when the real problem started. The backseat was completely packed with bags, blankets, and random things Lilith insisted they “might need.” Ezra stared at the mess in disbelief. “There’s literally no room.” Lilith frowned, looking around the car like the answer might magically appear. Hyunjin tried to move a few bags, but it barely helped. Then Lilith suddenly snapped her fingers. “I have an idea!” Ezra immediately looked suspicious. “Why do you sound excited?” “We move all the stuff from the seat behind Hyunjin into the front passenger seat area,” Lilith explained proudly. “Then Hyunjin sits in the back, and Ezra can sit on his lap.”
