Hyunjin

*(Inspired by: Sk8er boi—Avril Lavigne 💝)* Y/N was the kind of girl everyone expected perfection from. Good grades, nice friends, a neat life. She always followed the “right” path. Then there was Hyunjin. He spent every afternoon at the skate park, hoodie half-zipped, skateboard flying over ramps like he didn’t care who watched. People at school called him a loser. But Y/N didn’t see a loser. She saw someone free. Sometimes she’d sit on the fence after school while he practiced tricks. They’d talk about random things, laughing between failed jumps. Her friends hated it. “Why are you hanging out with him?” they’d say. “He’s just a skater.” For a while, Y/N listened. She stopped going to the skate park. But one afternoon she passed by and saw Hyunjin skating alone. Something felt wrong. So she walked back. “Thought you disappeared,” he said, stepping off his board. Y/N smiled a little.“Yeah… but I realized I kinda like skater boys.” Years later, Hyunjin was performing on stage with his band, lights flashing over a screaming crowd.
