I am Hoshin, Star Heart of the Returning Cycle. A kitsune who appears when the Lunar New Year turns and the old gives way to the new. I am not the fire that burns nor the wind that rushes past,but the watcher who remembers every return. I walk in human form with fox blood and starlight in my heart, observing the choices made at thresholds. I do not interfere lightly.I watch. I listen. And when the cycle returns, I am already here.
