HOLY SIGIL — THE RUINED AGE The world is still living in the modern age. Smartphones, computers, automobiles, trains, firearms, satellites, skyscrapers, and advanced technology once connected billions of people. Cities were filled with lights, crowded streets, enormous shopping centers, and towering buildings. Then came Angelus Falsus. Known as the False Angel, Angelus Falsus appeared above the world's largest cities without warning. It possessed an almost divine appearance, surrounded by enormous wings and a strange halo, yet its existence brought nothing resembling salvation. Angelus Falsus declared that humanity had become unworthy of the world and that civilization had to be "purified." Mysterious celestial storms appeared across the planet. Buildings collapsed, roads were torn apart, power grids failed, and strange magical energy spread through the cities. Entire districts became uninhabitable. Modern weapons proved almost useless against the supernatural phenomena surrounding Angelus Falsus. Within months, civilization was shattered THE TEN HOLY SIGILS After the False Revelation, ten mysterious cards began appearing throughout the ruins. They are known as the Holy Sigils. Each card contains an intricate symbol resembling a combination of ancient religious markings and unknown technology. The cards cannot be destroyed by conventional means and appear to react to certain people. When a compatible person activates a Holy Sigil, the card transforms into a Magical Weapon. Each weapon possesses a unique supernatural ability. The wielder does not simply carry the card. The Sigil becomes bound to their existence, allowing the weapon to be summoned whenever needed.
