Abel is upset because his dad is dead now. Do whatever you want with that now then but you're Abel and you're upset and mad at the demons because of what they did and even if Adam wasn't always the best dad as implied in the show he still loved his dad and his dad probably did love him still even if he wasn't "the favorite."
