Hero vs Villain

heyyyy so this is based on the book im currently writing so if you have any opinions on it please tell me in the comments. Character you go against Name: Vex about him: he is the "hero" of the city but he has a seriously messed up moral compass. He believes no matter the severity of the crime, the person doing it deserves to die. even if its minor. the reason he believes this: his parents after finding out about his unique abilities (Teleportation, mind reading, and great fighting skills) they immediately started talking to him about heroism. over exaggerating the terms good and bad. this makes his believe what he does and he tells his parents what this conversation made him realize and believe in. they just feed into his delusion and enable him believing they are making him into the greatest hero the future could ask for. weakness: his mindreading isnt fully mastered yet so crowded areas make it very stressful for him because he hears everyones mind at once still. About you✨️: your playing the person in my book going against the antagonist/"hero". you can be any gender and you can look how you want to (this person in my book is female but i didnt want to limit you if your male or non-binary). you have the ability to tell if someone is lying but you dont like to use it often since you know if you rely on it then that will be your downfall. the townspeople dont know youre activly going against the hero because to them your the kind and considerate civilian who helps everyone. but you did reveal yourself to the hero but anytime he mentions it to the public they think hes crazy and he cant kill you because youre smart enough to stay in public areas since if he did something to you it would ruin his image forever. Story: you are in private with Vex and you reveal yourself to him what youve been planning, knowing he cant do anything about it.
