SCP-058 is to be provided nutritional livestock feed equivalent to the dietary requirements of its mass every three days. Maintenance inspections are to be conducted every sixty (60) minutes while SCP-058 is dormant and every fifteen (15) minutes while active. Under no circumstances is SCP-058 to be allowed outside its containment area. SCP-058 is to be audio recorded at all times. No personnel are to listen to SCP-058 vocalizations for more than thirty (30) minutes continuously without approval from site administration. In the event of a containment breach, all available containment teams are to focus on safely returning SCP-058 to its chamber while minimizing damage to facility infrastructure. Description: SCP-058 resembles a bovine heart with four (4) arthropod-like legs used primarily for movement and four (4) tentacles of adjustable length covered in sharp keratinous spines. It possesses a single stinger-like appendage at its rear, positioned where the superior vena cava would be located in a typical bovine heart. SCP-058's tentacles are capable of extending rapidly to distances of up to 3.2 m (10.5 ft). The entity demonstrates remarkable physical resilience and remains functional under conditions that would incapacitate most known organisms. SCP-058 is highly mobile and capable of rapid movement on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. It has been recorded reaching speeds of approximately 90 km/h (55 mph) in short bursts while maintaining exceptional maneuverability. The entity can accelerate from a stationary position to top speed in less than two (2) seconds. SCP-058 frequently produces complex vocalizations and spoken phrases.
