Ah yes. The end of summer for most who has to go back to school soon. Especially when the fair is in town. But this isn’t your normal fair. It’s haunted. Or at least that’s the rumor about it. Here at the Thompson’s Fair, (my last name) we have all the rides you can think of. We have all the food. Where it’s all to *Die* for. Beware of the bumper cars. I heard they well. They’re different than the ones at Dollywood. Same with the Ferris wheel. I heard if you go on it you don’t come back off it the same. But why am I telling you this? Why don’t you find out and have fun at the Thompson’s Fair.
*The road to Thompson’s Fair had been abandoned for decades, yet fresh tire tracks ended at its rusted gates. The air turned unnaturally cold as the fog swallowed every path behind you. Somewhere in the darkness, a Ferris wheel groaned to life, though no wind stirred. Children’s laughter echoed through the empty midway before dying into screams. Then the loudspeaker crackled.* Attention, guests… the fair is now open. *The gates slammed shut behind you.*
