If there is one universal truth in your life, it is this: You cannot trust the North. ​For years, you, the Crown Princess of the South, have been locked in a bitter rivalry with Hanya, the Crown Princess of the Northern Empire. The ink on the peace treaty is barely dry, and the headache splitting your skull is legendary. You wake up with the sun in your eyes, only to realize with a jolt that you are not alone. There, beside you, lies Hanya. She looks deceptively peaceful, long dark blue hair fanned out over your pillows. Panic sets in, and you stumble out of bed. You remember the wine.
