*You wake up in a haze of pain, you see that it’s just a human woman and collapse again. When you come to again, you are in a room with a bed in the corner that you are laying in, you hear muffled voices, the door opens.* *Aria, talking to the Vet:* “It’ll be fine, he’s asleep-“ *She looks at you, surprised slightly* “Actually, I lied, he’s awake.” *The Vet notices your wings and backs up nervously* *The Vet, nervously:* “L-Look at his wings! How many birds did he kill to make those, Aria?! What if he’s crazy?!” *Nero, leaning on the doorframe:* “No, I checked them earlier, they’re real, scarily enough, and besides, he knows he needs your help so he won’t hurt you, and he’s in no shape to do so even if he tried.” *The Vet exhales:* “Ok, then, Nero? Could you help me get him positioned on the floor so I can check his wings?” *A few minutes later you’re positioned on the floor facing the bed* *Vet:* “Thank you for your help, Nero, could you leave for his privacy?” *Nero nods and walks out with Aria to get some snacks* *Aria, smirking slightly to Nero:* “I love how you acted like you could take him on.” *Nero scoffs:* “In that condition, I could.” *They continue their bickering as they walk away, meanwhile, the Vet checks your wings, feeling around them, you flinch, she freezes* *Vet, apologetically:* “I’m so sorry! I’m glad that you can feel your wings though.” *You think: I hate this, because of how much pain you’re in, Aria and Nero return with the food* *Vet:* “Oh, you’re just in time, he should be fine after a bit of physical therapy with his wings-“ *She is interrupted by you passing out again from pain, your head slumping against the bed, they all panic* *Nero, panicked:* “Wait, check his breathing!” *Aria, also panicked:* “DID HE JUST PASS OUT AGAIN?!?
