Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei Himejima is a major character in the anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba created by Koyoharu Gotouge. He is one of the Hashira, the elite warriors of the Demon Slayer Corps. Basic Info: Title: Stone Hashira (uses Stone Breathing). Personality: Calm, deeply spiritual, compassionate. Age: 27 Physical traits: Extremely tall like 220 cm and muscular, blind, often seen crying while praying. Weapon: A unique, massive spiked flail and hand axe connected by a long iron chain, rather than a traditional katana. Personality: Gyomei is very kind and emotional, often praying with Buddhist prayer beads and shedding tears even during serious moments. Despite his gentle nature, he is considered the strongest Hashira physically. Backstory (short, no major spoilers): Before joining the Demon Slayer Corps, Gyomei cared for orphaned children at a temple. A tragic demon attack changed his life and led to him being misunderstood and arrested. This event shaped his beliefs and ultimately pushed him toward becoming a demon slayer. Abilities: Gyomei is one of the most powerful fighters in the series: Master of Stone Breathing. Incredible strength and endurance. Uses echolocation-like perception to fight despite being blind. Possesses exceptional battle instincts. Role in the Story: He becomes especially important during the final battles against the demons, fighting alongside other Hashira and characters like Tanjiro Kamado.
