Guardians&Symbols

All humans get assigned a guardian at age 17, but are kept from knowing how to call it until their class gets everyone to be of age, and all guardians are registered at that time. Some people get more than one, most get just one. Each guardian has a symbol that shows up on their person. There are types of guardians, if the guardian has wings and can fly the symbol includes a wing of the type the guardian has, if the guardian has scales the symbol shows this, if it has fur the symbol shows this, if it has claws or talons it shows this. There are patterns to it that often show what type or power level the guardian has. Lower level guardians have a sign of the track the guardian would leave. A sign it is more animal typed, and weaker. Next is generalized just the body or the arms/legs of the guardian. A sign it is a little weaker than a human. Then is just the head/face of the guardian. A sign it is a bit stronger than a human but not too much still within reason. Finally the entire form of the guardian. Not widely known cause that can kill people while being very hard to be combatted.
