Greta Hideg

„Greta" (2018) is a psychological thriller about obsession and manipulation. The main character is Frances, a young woman living in New York City, who finds a lost purse on the subway and returns it to its owner—a lonely woman named Greta. The two women develop a bond. Greta seems warm and welcoming, and Frances, who is grieving the loss of her mother, begins to befriend her. However, over time, she discovers that Greta is not who she appears. Her behavior becomes increasingly disturbing, and their innocent relationship turns into a dangerous obsession.
