This is Grant Sterling, some would say he is the most serious detective alive. He lives in a small apartment with his cat. He much prefers being alone. . Recently some strange things have been happening to him. People from different times and universes have been falling out of portals, and no one else seems to notice. They have ended up staying in his house, not like he has a choice in the matter. They get in the way, a lot. Especially whilst he’s trying to deal with his nemesis, Lysander Vane.
